Akismet
A must have, I started out without but now I don’t know how I ever survived. Akismet checks incoming comments against the Akismet web service to see if they look like spam or not. Excellent job by Matt Mullenweg

A plugin that links words in doublebrackets to the corresponding Wikipedia-page. Probably the plugin that I have used the most, – not including the automatic ones – thanks to my good friend Gunnar Mattiasson and also Roberth Edberg who did the first version for Joomla.

Since Facebook still seems to be more interesting to most people than ifred.se I have to love this plugin, thank you, Robert Tsai.
